Our Head Office is fully networked, which allows us to
maintain open communication with all staff (whether in
the office or the field), while assisting with our daily
administrative tasks (something your accounting
department will appreciate).  Our technical knowledge
is further promoted through the use of our Geographical
Information System at our Head Office, and in the near
future, this system will be fully integrated into all of our
heavy and mobile equipment in a real-time format.  This
GIS knowledge, experience and utilization, places
Seguin Construction (1979) Ltd. in the forefront of the
construction industry.

Through communication and training, our field staff is more
intimately familiar with any environmental factors and concerns,
Federal and Provincial legislative and regulatory requirements,

Seguin Construction (1979) Ltd.’s  years of experience and expertise pertains mainly to Oilfield applications such as:

  • Summer and Winter road building and maintenance
  • Site clearing
  • Lease preparation – single or multi wellsite applications
  • Excavation of pits / sumps and ditches
  • Plantsite preparation – including gas plant and oil battery sites
  • Supply and /or haul gravel/ clay/ topsoil/ sand/ crushed rock ( Aggregates )
  • Seeding
  • Culvert and rip-wrap completions
  • Wellsite clean-ups, abandonments and reclamation

Seguin Construction (1979) Ltd’s expertise is however, not limited strictly to Oilfield applications.  Due to our extensive knowledge and experience with Civil Engineering requirements, we have previously, and are presently involved with the Town of Slave Lake and the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River #124 in regards to sub-division and general construction earthworks.  Seguin Construction (1979) Ltd. is also contracted by Alberta Sustainable Resources Development to assist with fire management areas during the spring and summer forest fire season.
